Fresh Exteriors: exterior cleaning for your home

Unlike plastic, metal, or glas…

Unlike plastic, metal, or glass awnings, fabric awnings are more nuanced and fragile. Fabric awnings are ideally cleaned in-place, where they have been installed. This includes debris removal, a spray-down with a 8 GPM ball-valve, and potentially brushing with detergent. For acrylic, polyester, nylon, or vinyl fabric awnings with mildew or organic growth on/in them, a light mix of sodium hypochlorite may be used, following an initial spot test.
